*** USF provides students and faculty study abroad program participants with insurance coverage for sickness, accident, hospitalization and emergency medical evacuation.This coverage is extended to program participants for the dates of the program. Those who plan to travel independently, in advance of or after the program, must arrange their own insurance coverage. One of the least expensive options is to purchase an International Student Identity Card. The card offers minimal insurance coverage and costs $23. It can be purchased on-line at: myisic.com
Payment Schedule
Program fee payable to USF Cashier's office:
· $800.00 due by January 16, 2010 to secure space in the program
· 50% of the remaining balance due no later than March 6, 2010.
· 50% of the remaining balance due no later than April 10, 2010
Cancellation policy
The deposit is completely non-refundable. You are strongly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation insurance if there is a possibility that you may have to cancel out of the program between the payment of the deposit and the departure date.
· 75% of the remaining payments are refundable if cancellation is made no later
than March 30th, 2010
· 25% of the remaining payments are refundable if cancellation is made no later
than April 24th, 2010
· No refund of the program fee will be made after April 24th, 2010
