Dance in Paris Program

Program Fees

Program Costs for 2010:
 
On-Site program fee: $2200.00 - $2400.00*
Study Abroad Administrative Fee: $200.00
USF tuition:  $90.00/ per undergraduate credit (not included in program fee)**

 

*Exact fee will depend upon enrollment and the dollar/euro exchange rate.

**This is current USF tuition. A modest tuition increase may go into effect by the time of course registration.

 

Variable Program Costs (not included in the program fee)

·         Round-trip airfare

·         Individual instructional materials & books (approximately $100.00)

·         Meals and personal expenses (suggested budget of approximately $200.00 per 
          week)

·         International Student Identity Card (required: $23.00)

 

Included Program Features

·         Lodging: single or double occupancy

·         All ground transportation including chartered bus to and from the airport,     
          unlimited use of metro and bus systems within Paris, group day trips to sites 
          outside of Paris including Chartres, Versailles, Auvers-sur-Oise and
          Vaux-le-Vicomte

·         All admissions to cultural sites and all performances

·         Maps and guides

·         Guidance of on-site USF faculty and assistants

·         Emergency Medical Insurance ***

 

*** USF provides students and faculty study abroad program participants with insurance coverage for sickness, accident, hospitalization and emergency medical evacuation.This coverage is extended to program participants for the dates of the program.  Those who plan to travel independently, in advance of or after the program, must arrange their own insurance coverage.  One of the least expensive options is to purchase an International Student Identity Card.  The card offers minimal insurance coverage and costs $23.  It can be purchased on-line at: myisic.com

 

 

Payment Schedule

Program fee payable to USF Cashier's office:

·         $800.00 due by January 16, 2010 to secure space in the program

·         50% of the remaining balance due no later than March 6, 2010.

·         50% of the remaining balance due no later than April 10, 2010

 

Cancellation policy

The deposit is completely non-refundable. You are strongly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation insurance if there is a possibility that you may have to cancel out of the program between the payment of the deposit and the departure date.

 

·         75% of the remaining payments are refundable if cancellation is made no later 
          than March 30th, 2010
·         25% of the remaining payments are refundable if cancellation is made no later 
          than April 24th, 2010 

·         No refund of the program fee will be made after April 24th, 2010

 

Payable to USF Cashier's Office:

·         USF tuition due May 15, 2010

·         $200.00 Administrative Fee due May 15, 2010
